- An author, film director, and director of photography. His worldview is shaped by his background in nonprofit and humanitarian organizations and theater.
- Adapt different approachfor each project that suits best. Prefers storytelling that asks the right questions rather than offering easy answers. By playing with ambiguity it invites audiences to interpret stories on their own terms.
- Allways trying to add depth to characters, depicting each one humanistically, revealing their intimate experience and true intentions poetic honesty.
- Developing own methodology of unconventional narration structures and actor-director creation process.
- Whenever situation allows he prefer 16mm or 35mm film stock.

Cinema lets us experience worlds beyond our own lifetimes. Since we humans are biologicaly wired to understand world through stories, storytelling should do more than entertain—it should aim to challenge our current perceptions, inspire change and create dialogues between different groups of people that foster deeper mutual understanding and tolerance. Always try to align values with commercial success.
- Michal holds a Master’s degree in Film Directing from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava.
